Overview of the School

The School of Business Studies is committed to imparting overall skills, knowledge, training & competency in the field of business and management. The course structure has been very carefully designed and is a rational mix of core & optional modules enabling specialization in, Finance, HR and Marketing,Data Analytics ,Entrepreneur Development Management, Labour and Legal Management,Tourism Management. The curriculum ensures overall development of students by inculcating competencies such as strong functional skills, critical thinking problem solving attitude and decision-making abilities. The School of Business Studies provides students with a learning-friendly atmosphere to utilize a higher level of their intellectual capacity, required to specialize in the respective areas of study. The School of Business Studies emphasis on the holistic development of the students and is prominent in various Outreach Activities, International Guest Lectures, Club Activities, Business Quiz Seminars and Symposiums so as to transform students’ personality as industry standards. Special emphasis is being provided by our expert faculty members which help students in getting selected in various Government, Semi-Government, PSUs, Private Sector Jobs and even motivating them to create unicorns.

Objective of the School
  • Provide quality Education, Foster Research and Development, inculcate innovation in management education through state-of-the-art infrastructure.
  • Nurture young and talented managers who are capable enough of assuming leadership roles for the upliftment of social welfare.
  • Collaborate with industry, government organizations and society for curriculum alignment and focused, relevant outreach activities.
  • Creating diverse learning environment by inculcating case study-based education.
  • Enhancing skills of the students by providing them with platforms to represent themselves through debates, discussions, symposium etc.
Significant Highlights of the School
  • Contemporary Course Curriculum designed as per Industry needs: School of Business Studies runs Master’s of Business Administration, Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce with different specialization. Each programs’ course has been designed after analyzing industry needs.
  • Debate and Discussions platform for the students: School of Business Studies provides a platform known as The MIC for the students as weekly activity where students are motivated to participate in group discussion, debate on a pre-decided title related to economic and business world.
  • Conduction of International Seminars, workshops and guest lecturers: School of Business Studies is continuously conducting seminars, workshops and guest lectures at international levels where speakers from outside India are imparting knowledge to the students and faculty members.
  • Business Lab,Virtual Classrooms and Video lectures: School of Business Studies teaches students through latest technologies including Power Point Presentation, Case Studies, Video lectures etc. Even numerical based subjects like financial management and management accounting are taught through Micro Soft excel using accounting tools.School also contains a Business Lab for the students.
  • Internship and visits to Business organizations: School of Business Studies ensures at least two visits to different types of Manufacturing and trading organization at local and domestic levels. It really helps students in grasping practical knowledge how goods and services are manufactured by manufacturers i.e., production processes. Internship is also a part of course curriculum which builds connection and develops professional networking and helps to translate internship into a full-time position for many students.

Me and my distinguished team of faculty members welcome’s all of you to School of Business Studies (SBS). Its core mission is to educate its students in business competencies through innovative and experiential learning-based programs. We aim to provide a transformative education to a diverse group of students in collaboration with identifiable and successful entities. Our goal is to produce graduates who will become successful, ethical, and socially responsible leaders, professionals, and entrepreneur.
