The School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Jigyasa University, Dehradun, successfully organized a Punjabi Themed Lunch – “Pind Punjab Da” – on 20th August 2025 at the “Flavours Delight” Training Restaurant. The event was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Shankar Ramamoorthy, Vice Chancellor, Jigyasa University, as the Chief Guest.
The lunch showcased the vibrant culture of Punjab through décor, music, and attire, with students dressed in traditional Punjabi outfits. The menu featured an elaborate spread including Shahi Masala Lassi, Amritsari Paneer Tikka, Pindi Chole, Maa Di Daal, Lahori Zaika, Rangla Pulao, Butter Naan, LachhaParantha, Shahi Phirni, and Lauki Khoya Halwa.
Students actively participated in culinary preparations, service, and guest engagement, ensuring a lively and authentic dining experience. The event was well received and appreciated by the guests for its festive atmosphere and authentic flavors.
