About Psychological Counseling Cell:

The Psychological Counseling Cell at Jigyasa University, launched on 21st August 2024, is a vital initiative aimed at fostering mental well-being within the academic community. Serving students, teaching, and non-teaching staff, the Cell provides a safe, confidential, and empathetic space for individuals to address emotional, academic, and interpersonal challenges. Staffed by qualified professionals, it offers individual and group counseling, psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals. With objectives to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and build resilience through workshops and seminars, the Cell is governed by a multidisciplinary team led by the Dean, School of Liberal Arts and coordinated by psychology faculty, ensuring a holistic and evolving support system.
